This morning we received a gracious donation of disinfection equipment and supplies from Yuma County, the City of Wray, the City of Yuma, and the Town of Eckley through Federal CARES Act dollars allocated to our community! These disinfectant devices will help us keep up with the day-to-day demands of battling germs and staying in school! We appreciate The Yuma County COVID Task Force! Congratulations to Don Crow on being awarded the Colorado School Counselor Association Rhonda Williams Lifetime Achievement Award this last Thursday. It couldn't have been presented to a more deserving individual. Don has served and continues to serve the Wray community, Wray School District, the Northeast Colorado Counselors, the Colorado School Counselor Association and the Colorado Department of Education faithfully. In the presentation, he was described as being like the energizer bunny and willing to take on any challenge. Congratulations Don!

Athletic Streaming Update: Wray Schools will be streaming all of our home contests for Season B. This includes Jr. High and High School Basketball, and Jr. High and High School Wrestling. Sub-Varsity contests for high school and Jr. High will also be streamed. You will need to follow our new Facebook page accounts in order to watch the games. The "WJSHS Main Gym Streaming" page on Facebook will stream all the activities from our big gym. The "WJSHS Secondary Gym Streaming" Facebook page will stream all the games played in our brand new secondary gym. Stormy Weather Productions will stream Varsity contests from the Wray Athletics page just like he did for Football this fall. You can view our Weekly Activities Calendar, that is posted to the www.wrayschools.org news feed, and the main Wray Schools Facebook page to check out the gym start times as well as the gym locations. This year is going to look very different, but we are excited to cheer on our student athletes all season long!

01/11/21 - All Parents and Students of the Wray School District RD-2 Community: This afternoon we have received a positive COVID-19 case, in Wray School District RD-2. The positive individual is currently in appropriate isolation following Health Department guidelines. Individuals who had direct exposure will receive an email from school district officials and a follow up call and letter from the Health Department. The Health Department is contacting persons who were exposed and will inform them of the proper quarantine protocols. District leaders will be collaborating with the Health Department regarding our next steps. Additional information will be sent out when appropriate.
