Congratulations to these 3rd graders who passed all of their fast facts for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in quarter two! These students were awarded with a math medal and received a standing ovation from their classmates. These math olympians stood proud as their classmates sang the National Anthem in honor of their hard work. Felicitaciones a estos alumnos de 3er grado que aprobaron todas las operaciones rápidas de suma, resta, multiplicación y división en el segundo trimestre. Estos estudiantes fueron premiados con una medalla de matemáticas y recibieron una ovación de pie de sus compañeros de clase. Estos olímpicos de matemáticas se mantuvieron orgullosos mientras sus compañeros cantaban el Himno Nacional en honor a su arduo trabajo.

WES Christmas Spirit Days Días de Espiritu Navideño de WES

The Wray Elementary 3rd and 4th grade Christmas program will be December 12 at 7 p.m. The doors will be unlocked at 6 p.m. so that you can come enjoy the art show featuring student work K-12 that evening as well. At 6:30 p.m. 3rd grade students may begin reporting to the WES music room and 4th grade may report to the WJSHS music room. Please be aware that there will not be supervision for the 3rd and 4th grade students for the program until 6:30 p.m. El programa de navidad de 3er y 4to grado de Wray Elementary será el 12 de diciembre a las 7 p.m. Las puertas se abrirán a las 6 p.m. para que puedan venir a disfrutar de la exposición de arte con trabajos de los estudiantes K-12 esa noche también. Calling all parents! The art department at Wray Schools is having a K-12 art show December 11th-16th, in the school. This year we would like to open it up to artistic parents as well! One art piece can be submitted into the show per parent. The piece needs to be framed with a wire hanger on the back (if applicable) and will be hung next to your students art in the show. We have talented art students here in Wray and we know that means there are talented parents out there as well. Please contact us at artshow@wrayschools.org. The journalism team felt it would be too overwhelming to finish a whole newsletter in the two days before Thanksgiving Break so we will not be printing next week. To accommodate the short week this week's newsletter has an additional weekly calendar on page six. Look for our next newsletter on December first. Fifth and sixth grade students who are enrolled in Mrs. Hall's special's rotation spent the first quarter learning all they could about journalism. They put their skills to use the week of October 10th and created an eye-catching first newsletter that was published on October 20th. Their goal was to create a newsletter every week that would be viewable on Friday Mornings. Over the last month, student's have created a total of four newsletters. One paper copy and the digital link has been shared to each elementary teacher as well as each office in the building on Friday mornings. Their weekly goal has been met and they would like to share their most recent newsletter with you.
