Just reminder that practices start this week and in order to practice each athlete must have a current physical on file. Additionally, all student athletes who have not gone onto PowerSchool to sign off on the Wray Athletic Handbook and the CHSAA rules can do so on their phones. Go to PowerSchool find the forms tab on the left click on it, scroll all the way to the bottom to WJSHS Student Agreements click and then check off each agreement and submit!
This is the golf update:
The golfers will go to Yuma on 8/12/22 (10:00 AM start) and will go to Akron on 9/9/22 (10:00 AM start).
Golf Schedule Correction:
There is no golf match with Yuma tomorrow 8/5/22.
A decision as to whether we will go to Yuma or Akron on 8/12/22 will be forthcoming. Stay tuned for an update!
Just a reminder that official high school FB, VB, Softball and Cross Country practices start on Monday August 8, 2022. Athletes must have a current physical in order to play. If your athlete has not gone onto PowerSchool to the forms tab and filled out the WJSHS forms have them do so before Monday.
XC Summer Running comes to an end this week. We will run Thur. evening at 6:30 pm and Sat. morning at 6:30 am. Don't forget practice starts next week on 8/8/22 at 6:00 pm in front to the high school. See you all soon!
On Friday August 19th the Wray Eagle Football Team will travel to Platte Vally HS in Kersey, CO for a scrimmage. Game time is 6:00 PM
The Wray Cross country has added a meet to the 2022 schedule. The Eagles will travel to Greeley on 8/20/22 for the University 2 Mile Invitational. The meet begins at 8:40 AM for the boys and 9:10 AM for the girls!
Wray football has added a scrimmage to the 2022 schedule. The Eagles will host University High School from Greeley on Saturday August 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Powell Field!
Parents of Wray Fall Athletes: Please plan to attend the Parent/Coach Athletic meeting with YOUR ATHLETES tomorrow evening, July 26, 2022 at 6:00 PM in Kitzmiller Auditorium. This is an opportunity to meet your athlete's coach, ask questions specific to your sport, and for athletes to fill out the required Athletic Handbook/CHSAA Rules in PowerSchool.
